Ronan Byrnes primarily practises in the area of litigation. He has been involved in significant cases before the Irish Superior Courts and particularly the Commercial High Court. He was recently part of a team that handled a complex and urgent case in the area of sports agency. Ronan provides strategic planning and advice for the advancement of sensitive and complex litigation matters, individually and as part of a team, to private companies and individuals.
In recent years, Ronan’s role has developed into assisting in the management of commercial litigation in Europe and in the US for a well-known multinational client.
In the course of his career at G J Moloney Ronan has acted on behalf of several leading financial institutions on a wide range of matters, including breach of undertaking proceedings, enforcement of Judgments, possession proceedings, well charging proceedings and proceedings on behalf of Receivers.
Ronan also practises in the area of employment law, providing general and specific advices to clients. This work ranges from developing policies and procedures for companies, to managing Workplace Relations Commission cases, to negotiating and drafting separation agreements.
