Taoiseach Leo Varadkar’s first engagement in Cork since taking office.
The Cork Chamber of Commerce hosted a members-only breakfast in the redeveloped Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Friday the 13th of October. Some of G J Moloney were present together with clients and alongside 400 other members, guests, Ministers, MEP’s and TD’s. Mr. Varadkar addressed the attendees on Budget 2018 and other current issues including the effect of Brexit on Cork and Ireland as a whole.
Mr. Varadkar was very positive and excited about the future of Cork and the plans he and the government have for investment and funding in the southern region to facilitate more business and people going forward.
